About the Item
This pretty semi flush mount was designed and manufactured in Austria in the 1920s. It features a frosted geometric glass shade and burnished brass holder and canopy. The light requires one E26/E27 bulb.
The fixture features a geometric design typical of the Secessionist movement. The shade is composed of multiple clear frosted glass panels, each section forming a symmetrical, polygonal pattern. The mount and base of the fixture are crafted from burnished brass providing a strong contrast to the clear glass. This design combines both functionality and artistic aesthetics, reflecting the Secessionist emphasis on merging fine art with everyday objects.
Diameter of canopy is 4.6" (11.6 cm). Height of lamp shade only 6.3" (16 cm).
The light has been rewired. All lighting is converted for US usage.
