Set of 2 Mid-Century Modern German Space Age Lamellar Metal and Smoke Glass Flush Mounts from Erco, 1960s
Rare glass ceiling lights from renowned lighting manufacturer Erco. Here even as a set of two.
An impressive design. A transparent rotated body made of smoked glass forms the outer shell of the light. The transparency of the glass reveals the complex interior. In the center, staggered aluminum slats surround the light source. The slats serve as diffusers and glare protection. At the same time, the light emitted highlights the different levels of the light. A black plastic base separates the glass shade from the ceiling and forms a wide, dark joint. The design is predestined for a mirrored light source (not included). The absence of glare allows the slats to come into their own.
The lights are in very good condition with signs of wear and patina.
