About the Item

Italian Hand-Blown Venetian Caged Glass Flush Mount / Wall Light, Mid-20th Century A striking Italian flush mount featuring a hand-blown Venetian glass globe in a rich amber hue, enclosed within an iron cage. The globe is tightly secured with screws, allowing the fixture to be used either as a ceiling mount or as a wall sconce. The metal plate dates to the mid-20th century; however, we were informed that the caged glass may be considerably earlier. The piece is fitted with two European E27 sockets (110V), each accommodating bulbs up to 75W. Metal plate is approx. 8 inches in diameter. In excellent vintage condition. A beautiful and atmospheric addition to any interior. Sourced from an estate in Modena, Italy. Note: Any bulbs shown in photos are for presentation only and are not included.
