Eye-catching Gilt Iron Sunburst Nail Design Ceiling Light Fixture
France, 1940s.
Wrought sunburst flush mount with spikes design in gilt iron.
This stunning sunburst ceiling light shows a strong design with pointed spikes in sunburst disposition. It has two layers of iron nails as rays surrounding a central ring panel with an exposed bulb. It has a dramatic aged patina in and an interesting design with Art Deco and Brutalist accents.
You can place it flush mounted or hanging from a chain as a pendant but it also could work as wall sconce.
Rare find.
Newly wired with 1 E27 bulb holder.
