The structure, semicylindrical in form, features an intricate arrangement of cast and molded metalwork, with a warm gilt finish that accentuates its ornamental details. Classical motifs, including scrolling foliage, garlands, and rosettes, are meticulously rendered, reflecting the influence of ancient Greco-Roman design. At its center, a suspended lighting chamber houses the sockets for bulbs, encased by frosted glass panels that soften the light while offering a subtle contrast to the gilded framework. The interplay of polished and textured surfaces enhances the depth and dimensionality of the piece, while its finely worked bronze elements exhibit precision in both casting and finishing. In the photographs, an identical piece can still be seen installed in the main hall of the original location. The complete light fixture weighs approximately 440 lbs (about 200 kg).
