Art Deco ceiling light, circa 1930, in pressed molded glass with a geometric design. Attributed to Hettier Vincent. In perfect condition. Wired for an E27 socket. Total height: 44.5 cm Diameter: 22 cm Globe height: 32 cm Weight: 4.8 kg Hettier Vincent The partnership between designer Charles-Louis Hettier (Paris, 1868) and Calixte Vincent (Lachapelle-Graillouse, 1876 – Paris, 1945) dates back to 1909. Established from their beginnings at 43 rue des Tournelles, they gradually expanded their business, and in 1929, Maison Hettier Vincent opened a prestigious gallery in the Place des Vosges in Paris, acquiring the Millet company to cater to a high-end Parisian clientele. After the Second World War, Vincent's widow managed the company until its sale. Hettier and Vincent, like other manufacturers, offered different types of glassware for their creations.
