About the Item

Beautiful large and rare lantern from the Art Deco period attributed to the Barovier e Toso factory from Murano Italy. This lantern executed in clear Murano glass in the Rostrato technique, for which the Barovier e Toso factory is well known, is heavy and of an unusually large dimension for this technique as well, making this a very rare piece. It holds 3 e 27 bulbs. The total length from the top glass cup to the pendant finial is 125 cm and has a 32 cm diameter at its widest. It is in beautiful condition with no major or noticeable damage. The small pendant is missing a sliver of the top rim but otherwise nothing to note.
