Good size, great condition bronze hallway pendant with unique antique blown circular glass.
This striking French lantern is a refined example of Empire Revival craftsmanship, dating to the early 1900s. It features a cylindrical body made of seamless, hand-blown clear glass encased in a richly detailed gilded bronze frame.
A standout decorative element is the set of four arrow-shaped mounts evenly spaced around the lantern, symbolizing classical influence and symmetry. Elegant curved arms and acanthus leaf finials/chain crown the top, enhancing its neoclassical elegance.
Inside, the lantern holds three candle-style E12 sockets, newly rewired and fully operational (as shown in photos). The piece is ideal for entryways, stairwells, or dining spaces that call for historical charm and warm illumination.
Thanks to the hook inside the (slightly) height adjustable brass canopy, safely mounting this lantern to your ceiling should take no more than five minutes either.
