English Hand Crafted Brass and Frosted Glass Hall Lantern
A quality English arts
crafts lantern with frosted glass cylinder shade.
Hand crafted from brass the lanterns metalwork is intricately shaped with a flowing design typical of the Arts
Crafts movement.
Dating to the early 1900’s the metal is beautifully patinated with wonderful rich tones and colours from years of aging.
A simple satin glass cylinder shade insert emits a beautiful soft and diffused light.
The light comes fully restored with premium black twist fabric cable, aged brass chain and ceiling rose to match.
BACKGROUND ON HALL LANTERNS
Vintage hall lantern light fittings are elegant lighting fixtures that were commonly used in entryways, hallways, and foyers during the late 19th century and early 20th century. When renovating our original reclaimed lighting all existing electrical parts are removed and renewed with modern electrical components.
All components used are CE certified and our lights are wired
tested in line with BSEN Standards.
As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description.
Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs.
Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated.
Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification.
Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use.
