About the Item

Amazing French lantern or photophore, in the French Provencal style but made in the 20th century. A large size and beauty characterizes this photophore, in the shape of a house, with faceted and profiled wooden walls with glass, it opens with a door and the roof can also be raised. The upper part has parallel wooden slats without glass, allowing it to breathe if candles are placed inside. The upper part, the roof, is made of metal imitating zinc and in the shape of a beautiful pagoda with a ring in case it could be hung somewhere. The wooden lower part contains a storage drawer and the entire piece rests on small galvanized legs following the French Provençal style, which is an interpretation of the Louis XV Style. It is a highly decorative piece and very difficult to find in this size!!!! Inside the house or outside, filled with large candles, it can be really gorgeous!!!!!
