About the Item

A stylish and charming 1950s Italian chandelier in patinated black iron with crystal and glass accents. The chandelier is comprised of 8 vertical scrolled iron supports. Four pair are wired in a criss cross pattern with handmade glass beads allowing for the adjacent supports to be left open. There are four internal candelabra sockets with original faux wax candle covers that are mounted on a ring. Hanging down the center of the fixture and through the ring of candelabra sockets is a long strand of glass beads and rosettes that ends with a large pear shape faceted prism. The curled iron ends are accented with glass flower rosettes and hand blown elongated glass drops. The body of the pendant light is 12 inches in diameter. Including the original ceiling canopy and chain the total height to the bottom glass drop is 30.5 inches.
