A distinguished and substantial bronze lantern of impressive scale, finely cast and exhibiting exceptional architectural detail. The rectangular body is framed by four elegant Corinthian columns rising to a crisply molded cornice, the whole enriched with refined neoclassical and Gothic-inspired ornamentation. The surface displays a soft, naturally developed verdigris patina, lending the piece both depth of character and a pleasingly aged appearance.
