Mid 20th Century English Copper and Milk Glass British Rail Network Light This piece of original British Railway history comes in the form of a handcrafted copper section and milk glass light shade. Casting a soft white eliminated light, hung from its original cast metal hook. A lovely interior design piece of English lighting in great condition for its age. Recently rewired, for a UK 240v power source output. Dimensions in inches: H 14” x W 16” x D 16” Age: 1940 - 1950 Origin: English Condition: Good This item shows natural wear and aging through obvious use over the years. Unbroken and firmly in place ready to use. The copper material has aged verdigris colouring as shown. The hook is original and with rust and marks. The chain which is shown in the advert is (NOT) for sale.
