Vintage Italian Brass
Bevelled Glass Hanging Lantern
A very nice quality decorative hanging lantern of hexagonal form, likely Italian, dating from around 1980.
The frame is constructed in brass with a bright gold-plated finish and fitted with six bevelled glass panels in good condition. The upper section features a gently serpentine top edge with elegant scrolled supports rising to a central finial, giving the piece a refined and decorative silhouette.
Internally, the lantern houses three curved brass branches designed to take SES (E14) candle bulbs. The original matching brass ceiling rose and hanging chain are present. A well-made vintage fitting of good proportions, ideal for a hallway, porch, or stairwell.

Condition:
Good overall vintage condition. Minor wear to the finish consistent with age, but clean and presentable throughout, with all bevelled glass panels in good order. In working order but sold untested; electrical fittings should be inspected by a qualified electrician before use.
