About the Item
Brutalist frosted ice wall lights in the style of Kalmar, Spain, 1970s. Each sconce is composed of 5 pieces of translucent acrylic attached to a metal structure in two levels. The style of this wall lights reminds us of Kalmar's designs of the “frozen” style, where pieces of molded glass gave shape to its “ice crystal” creations, whereby the resulting light gave a unique lighting effect.
Brutalist, Space Age and Mid-century Modern style. Very much in the style of the creations of La Murrina, Toni Zuccheri, AVMazzega and Zero Quattro.
Available pieces:
31 translucent sconces
2 red sconces
1 yellow sconce
For 4 E14 bulbs each piece. Original electrical installation reviewed and fully operational. LED compatible. All the pieces were never used and are almost brand new or have minimal wear due to the passage of time.
Note: We always try to the fullest to respect and preserve as much as possible all the original elements of each piece (wiring, lampshade, finishes...) so as not to alter the original aesthetics and so that they can continue to have another life with their intact soul. That is why sometimes certain elements can present wear and tear, but they are part of the life of each piece, always providing a very pleasant patina.
