About the Item
Elegant set of vintage Space Age wall sconces designed and manufactured by ERCO in Germany, circa 1970s.
A refined example of European architectural lighting from the period, each sconce features a minimal cylindrical body in lacquered white metal, with a black interior reflector and a clean, futuristic silhouette.
The design provides double-direction light (up
down), creating sharp light beams that enhance architectural lines—an effect strongly associated with late-1960s/1970s Space Age interiors, where geometry, light projection and optical contrast defined the ambience.
A pure functionalist aesthetic with a quietly futuristic spirit: graphic when lit, discreet when off.
Up to 10 pairs are available, making them an ideal solution for Space Age-inspired projects, boutique hotels, galleries, or any large interior requiring a coherent lighting language.
