About the Item
1930s Finnish Cylindrical Glass Plug-in Wall Lamp in the Manner of Paavo Tynell. A highly refined wall lamp executed in opaline glass with attractively patinated chrome frame. Retains original white switch on backplate. A highly functional design of deceptive simplicity, these wall lights exude Finnish refinement. Unmarked.
Ref. literature Idman Oy Lighting Catalog, 1937-38, related model p.37
Accommodates 1x 60w max equivalent standard candelabra base (e12) LED bulb (LED only, not included). Professionally rewired for US electrical with new period-style US wall plug. Retains original switch and 56" white cable. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, losses and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
