About the Item

Wall-mounted light fixture designed and made in Italy during the 1950s. The unit consists of a tapered opaline glass shade seated on a conical steel stem finished in pale green lacquer. The stem is anchored to a brass backplate with a single horizontal arm and concealed fastening points. Materials: solid brass, lacquered steel, opaline glass. Electrical fitting: one E14 lamp holder; compatible with both 110-120 V (U.S.) and 220-240 V (EU) grids when used with the appropriate bulb. Condition: very good overall, uniform patina on brass and minor surface marks consistent with age and careful use.
