1960s Stilnovo Sculptural Opaline Glass and Brass Wall Lamp.
Executed in attractively patinated brass with a sculptural diabolo opaline glass shade. An incomparably refined design characteristic of midcentury Italian lighting at its highest level. Unmarked.
Price is per item. 6 lamps available.
Stilnovo was one of the most innovative Italian lighting design companies during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by discerning collectors.
Accommodates 1x standard US candelabra base (e12) 60W equivalent LED bulb (lower with incandescent). Professionally rewired for US electrical with custom brass period-style backplate added for mounting over standard US j-box. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Please note only one representative example appears in the photos, but all lamps in similarly good condition and present well as a set. Some age appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, marks, patina and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Additional photos available upon request.
