About the Item

1970s vintage, retro, space-age, German Hustadt Leuchten 'Fat Lava' ceramic brown glazed glossy wall sconce with a 3-dimensional design. A single E14 screw in bulb sits in the centre of the triangular indented wall light. I would recommend a silver capped bulb which are now also available in LED format which reflect beautifully back over the wonderful glossy glaze. I have shown one in the images which illustrates how the light fitting casts a wonderful shadow against the wall along with a LED clear globe bulb. A chrome screw in fitting holds the shade onto the metal wall fitting. The wall sconce works as a single but also looks amazing in a group when mounted with others across a wall. There is a small indentation in the bottom of each side for them to be easily wired together. Rewired by a professional electrician and in full working order. The are many different designs of these sconces in bold colours and shapes. I have another on the Retro Living website. There are some minor hairline cracks to the glazed glossy surface but overall it's in very good vintage condition. 5 available. Price is for ONE.
