About the Item

1970s retro West German 'Fat Lava" ceramic glazed wall sconce with a brown and orange 3-dimensional fossil design. Manufactured by Goebel. The vibrant and strikingly rich colours would add colour to any dark corner. The E27/E26 screw in bulb sits in the centre of the square light. I would recommend a silver capped bulb which are now also available in LED format. A chrome screw in fitting holds the shade onto the metal wall fitting. The wall sconce works as a single but also looks amazing in a group with others across a wall. Rewired and in full working order. In the images I have shown two different sized silver-capped bulbs as examples. 5 available Dimensions: 22cm square 7cm deep.
