About the Item

An extremely rare and monumental pair of Decorated Six Light “Lily” wall sconces by, Tiffany Studios. Each sconce is finished in its original gilt bronze finish and each sconce further decorated with Six Tiffany Favrile Lily Shades that are all iridescent gold throughout and ruffled openings. Five Shades are signed L.C.T. Favrile, Five Shades are signed L.C.T. and Two shades are unsigned. All shades are authentic period favrile lily shades produced by, Tiffany Studios. Each Sconce carries one shade that is unsigned. All shades are guaranteed authentic, original period Tiffany Favrile Lily Shades. Measurements: height: 11.5 in. x width: 13.25 in. x depth: 13.25 in. Condition: Shades: All shades are in good condition showing very minimal signs of wear around the fitters. Twelve Lily Favrile Shades in total. Sconces: The sconces are finished and retain their original gilt finish. There are some signs of loss to the gilding and some spotting which is all indicative of age and use. Very common for pieces over 100 years old. The backplates retain working switches built in. They are further UL electrified and ready to install. An extremely rare French Art Deco enameled laid on copper and wrought iron decorated vase by, Camille Fauré. The vase is decorated with an enameled geometric design in colors of blue, black, and white further set into a decorated hand forged wrought iron mount. The vase is signed "C.FAURÉ.LIMOGES". - circa 1940s' Measurements: height: 13.5 in. x width: 5 in. x diameter: 5.25 in. Biography: Camille Faurè produced designs for Limoges, long famed for its enamels Born in Perigueux in 1872, he spent a long apprenticeship before setting up his own workshop at Limoges, where he worked for over fifty years.
