"Yucas" is a collaboration between Taller Maya and Difane, blending tradition and creativity in the lamps "Tanku" and "Tamo." These not only serve as artworks but also pay homage to the vibrant Yucatecan communities. The sturdy "crema maya" stone bases embody the essence of the region's ancient architecture, each telling a story connected to the land. The spirit of "Yucas" is reflected in jipijapa-woven lampshades, an ancestral technique. The light through these shades projects a visually rich narrative celebrating Maya culture.
