About the Item
A wall light grown from seed, this piece if part of the Bronze Wall Light collection from British designer Jess Wheeler. This piece started life as a fig leaf grown at home in Jess’s garden, before being cast in bronze.
Supplied with a mains-powered bulb-holder which sits discreetly behind the sculpture, illuminating the wall in a soft, warm light.
Jess Wheeler Studio is a multidisciplinary practice headed by artist-designers Jess Wheeler and Eddie Orlik.
Based in the rural South West of England, the studio has developed a reputation for originality and an explorative approach – creating artworks, lighting, furniture and sculpture, often inspired by natural forms and driven by a playful approach to materials.
