An incredibly rare brutalist illuminated sculpture in steel, hand crafted using nails and steel, modelled as a large tropical fish and dating to the 1950’s.
The beautiful dark steel linear fish is fitted with a hand blown amber glass eye, and illuminated from below by a single E14 bulb.
An absolutely stunning piece of brutalist art sculpture that would be the talking point of any room.
Length 59 cm x Width 31.5 cm x Depth 9 cm
Note due to the brutalist nature of this light sculpture and the use of nails in the construction, some parts of the sculpture are quite sharp.
This is ready to be hard wired in, but could easily be adapted to be used with a plug and switch lead.
