About the Item
Carved + Cast = CARST.
The Carst Pendant is made through a unique process where hand-carved blocks of stone are used to create a cast in solid aluminum.
After the raw cast is formed, the edges are hand polished to produce a contrast between the textured body and the mirror polished edges. A powerful LED light source emits a soft, diffused glow, to create a warm, ambient effect.
The Carst Pendant blends functionality with a subtle, sculptural presence.
The Carst Pendant uses high-output 24V LED strips (CRI of
90) to cast light directly down, washing surrounding surfaces with illumination to create a focused lighting source, ideally suited above kitchen islands and tables.
As each Carst Pendant is made to order, we can customise:
-Hang height (78 inches standard; additional hang tube can be supplied)
-Dimming requirements
-LED colour temperature (2700K, 3000K, 4000K)
During the ordering process, we will supply a product order form confirming all details of your order.
Our products are carefully assembled by hand in our Melbourne studio, with approximate lead times of 11-12 weeks.
The Carst Pendant folds flat for efficient international transport and is shipped via air freight at highly competitive rates to locations worldwide.
