Pani Jurek is a Polish design studio founded by artist and designer Magdalena Jurek. Pani Jurek designs lighting fixtures, tables, mirrors and vases. The TRN collection, comprising tables, fixtures and mirrors, is a tribute to the painter Jan Tarasin.
Jan Tarasin was interested in the world of objects. He began with a realistic record of objects that he simplified and reduced until a system of abstract signs was formed. In her latest collection, Pani Jurek reverses this process, turning ideograms into things again. Her three dimensional objects have a simple calligraphic form so they can play and talk together as if they were letters from a non-existent alphabet.
The Z1 wall lamp is part of the TRN collection, featuring three-dimensional objects inspired by the paintings of Jan Tarasin. The pieces in this collection are characterized by their simple, calligraphic forms that interact like letters from an imaginary alphabet.
The ceramic wall stick can be adjusted up to 90 degrees, allowing it to be positioned horizontally or vertically. Handcrafted glazing gives each piece a unique character. The lamp is finished with brass elements, with options available in silver or black nickel finishes.
