About the Item
Chrysalis Wall by Ango is a sculptural wall light that brings a quiet sense of poetry and material richness to interior spaces. Conceived as the wall-mounted expression of the iconic Chrysalis series, the piece is formed from a natural constellation of hand-selected silk cocoons, arranged in an intentionally organic composition.
Each cocoon is surrounded by an aura of ultra-fine silk fibres that gently refract the light, producing a soft, atmospheric glow with subtle depth and shadow. The elements are individually attached to a delicately hand-soldered wire structure—an artisanal process unique to Ango—allowing the light to appear weightless and alive against the wall.
Both luminous object and interior accent, Chrysalis Wall is suited to refined residential settings, corridors, staircases, and boutique hospitality interiors where light is experienced as mood rather than illumination alone. The design has been selected for Hotel Chavanel in Paris, the boutique hotel in Paris, reflecting its timeless appeal and its ability to elevate interiors through handcrafted detail and organic form.
