About the Item
An elegant Murano glass wall light, crafted in Italy in the 1980s. The light fixture is composed of transparent blown glass with amber hues and irregular inclusions that create a refined textured effect, highlighting the artisanal quality of Murano glasswork.
The sculptural, vertical shape is characterized by a faceted central volume, flanked by raised oval elements, and completed by an elongated lower element in amber glass, lending momentum and dynamism to the overall effect. The glass is enclosed in a geometric black metal frame, with clean, architectural lines, typical of the aesthetic language of the 1980s, creating an elegant contrast with the transparency and luminosity of the glass.
When turned on, the wall light diffuses a warm, enveloping light, enhancing the amber hues and irregularities of the blown glass. Ideal as a decorative light fixture in entryways, hallways, living rooms, or contract spaces, it fits perfectly in both modern and postmodern or eclectic interiors.

For the Cascata (Italian for “waterfall”), which debuted in the 1960s, Nason achieved the effect of cascading water through an inverted pyramid of hanging glass plates, each individually mouth-blown and suspended from a chrome-plated frame for a dazzling, Art Deco–styled display. Lit from behind, the plates have a glittering, iridescent quality. Versions of the lamp range from 30 inches to over six feet in height, with large models featuring more than 20 individual light sockets.
