About the Item
This elegant Diabolo wall lamp was produced by Lunel in France during the 1950s, drawing inspiration from the work of designer René Mathieu. A perfect example of post-war French lighting design, it combines refined aesthetics with practical function.
The structure features a brass wall mount and adjustable arm, allowing for directional lighting. The articulated arm leads to a distinctive diabolo-shaped paper lampshade, custom-made with great attention to detail and housing two light sources.
The shade diffuses a soft, ambient glow, ideal for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Two discreet switches are positioned on the central brass ring for independent light control.
Whether used for reading, accent lighting, or as a sculptural statement, this piece brings a touch of mid-century sophistication to any interior.
Requires two B22 bulbs.
