Carlo Guglielmi’s goal is to create a catalogue with a collection of products strongly independent of what the market may be demanding. A collection inspired by a deeply-rooted culture of design. Located in Milan, Italy, Gugliemi says that “Milan has always been the capital of a powerful industrial and commercial network, and today it is recognized worldwide as a vital hub of culture, art, creativity, and innovation.” For this reason, the city’s name has contributed to the title of Gugliemi’s company, in order to reflect the city and its values. With that in mind, Carlo Gugliemi wanted to include the name ‘Firmamento,’ due to its meaning "the firmament above us, the sky sparkling with ideas, dreams, values, architects, and beauty.” Today, these values are an essential part of Firmamento Milano, which they want everyone who collaborates with them to share.
