About the Item
A French wall light dating to the 1960s. The sculptural shade curves gently outward—matte black on the exterior, ivory within—channeling light into a focused wash. Below, a perforated metal diffuser softens the glow, resting delicately on two brass ball finials.
Mounted to a pivoting brass-accented arm, the fixture swings a full 180 degrees—perfectly suited for bedside reading, illuminating a lounge chair, or casting light across a dining nook.
Condition: Great vintage condition, with a rich patina to the brass components. Minor surface marks and scuffing to the metal arm, shade, and perforated diffuser. This lamp has been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with a new socket, switch, and plug. Accepts one E12 candelabra base light bulb.
