Double Layered Nail Design sunburst light fixture, milk glass, gilt iron, France, 1940s-1950s. This sunburst light fixture features a gilt iron ring with two layers of iron nails surrounding a central milk glass difusser. Style in transition from Art Deco to Brutalism. Beautiful placed alone but also interesting mixed with other light fixtures in this manner to create a ceiling constellation or a wall composition. It can work as ceiling light and as wall sconce. The Brutalist design, strong but elegant marks the difference in this light fixture It will be a nice addition to any entry hall, corridor, bathroom or bedroom. Newly wired. Rare find. Overall Measurements: 26 cm diameter x 12 cm height // 10,23 in diameter x 4,72 in height.
