About the Item

Gaetano Sciolari, by. Pair of wall lights in chrome metal and smoked glass, boulle shape. Italian work realized in the 1970s. Dimensions: H 26 x W 20 x D 26 cm Reference: LS5267156T Gaetano Sciolari (1927-1994) was an Italian designer who was the first Italian lamp manufacturer in the United States, as well as the largest importer. He was the founder and first president of the Italian professional association of lighting manufacturers, which is still very active today. All of Sciolari’s creations combine avant-garde formal research, with geometric inspirations but always elegant and sophisticated, with a preference for working with glass, brass and chrome.
