About the Item
Stunning and beauty Set of Three Murano Ice-glass Wall Sconces by Hillebrand Leuchten. These fixtures were designed and manufactured during the 1970s in Germany. Model 8527-211.
Each Wall Sconce is composed metal structure and a piece of Murano glass.
Each Sconce is equipped with two light sockets (E14). A professional electrician has checked and prepared the piece to operate in US, UK and EU.
Find attached pictures of the original "Hillebrand Leuchten" catalogue from 70s.
"Hillebrand" produced several different Wall Lamps in Murano glass. Different texture in the glass, other formats.
Egon Hillebrand Leuchtenfabrik, Neheim-Hüsten was founded on may 15, 1881 by plumbing and fitter master Egon Hillebrand as a producer of nickel silver lids for beer pitchers, established household appliances, kerosene lamps and storm and carriage lanterns.
With the arrival of the son Franz, the operation was switched to the turn of the century in the manufacture of electrical lighting fittings.
Around 1955, the collection was a representative, quality Rustic line “lights for restaurants and farmers bars“. The company filed for bankruptcy in 1995.
