About the Item
A pair of romantic wall lights made during the Mid-20th Century but inspired by the French style of the 18th century.
The thin and elegant structure is made of gilded iron arabesques with the artisanal gold leaf technique.
The golden structure of these vintage applique is embellished with various opaline glass and crystal pendants made in pop and cool colors such as Peachy and Barbie pink.
These wall lights are in original vintage condition apart from the lampshades which were recently custom made by a craftsman and the electrical system which has been rewiring.
Glass and crystals are intact, there are minimal signs of use and aging on the gilded wooden parts.
The patina of time on gold is splendid,
as well as the lamp holder cups in opaline glass which reproduce the sunburst of a flower.
