About the Item

18th Century Italian Wrough Iron Sconce Monumental Fifteen-armed Candelabra with a pyramidal hand-made iron frame decorated with scrolling, curling embossed motivs. This large size unique artwork is a 18th century Italian iron candlestick sconce consists of two pieces, an upper 15 armed wall candelabra, a 15 armed candlestick and a later wrough iron basement, may be dating from the early 20th century, to use this candelabra as a standing floor torchere. a floor torch, a lamp for a winter garden. It comes from a private villa in Lombardy and is in good age related condition, with signs of wear and use; it is not wired, may be used fir candle lighting only and due to its large size, you may possibly opt to use only the upper pyramidal wall sconce without mounting it on the later basement. The candlestick fits into a bayonet lower wrough iron basement to be used as floor candleholder, torchere. Le misure indicate si riferiscono al manufatto montato alto 194 cm, la parte superiore sola misura 126 cm mentre l'altezza della base 78 cm. Width: 109 cm - 67,5 cm is the basement width only.
