About the Item
A beautiful set of 4 chrome wall lamps model V-299 designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson and manufatured by his own company in Markaryd Sweden in the 1950s. The lamps feature a full chrome frame with a layered shade casting a warm light evenly into the surrounding space. They are not very sizeable and are easy to integrate into an inside or outside interior. All pieces in this set are in pristine condition and are equipped with manufacturers stamps (refer to pictures). The entire set came from the same location, a bank in southern Finland.
Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009) was a renowned Swedish designer and architect, who gained international recognition for his elegant and timeless lighting designs. His creations often feature clean lines, quality craftsmanship and a minimal aesthetic. His work continues to be admired and highly sought after to this day.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
