About the Item

Heinz Lilienthal (1927–2006) – Pair of stained glass windows A true master of light, Heinz Lilienthal emerged after 1945 as one of the leading innovators of modern stained glass. His work, combining architectural audacity with ancestral craftsmanship, transcends materiality to create compositions where glass, concrete, and metal engage in a dialogue with light. His unique style blends abstraction, geometry, and textured surfaces. These exceptional stained-glass windows were created on commission for a prestigious hotel in Germany, which has since been dismantled. Preserved with the utmost care, they bear witness to Lilienthal’s genius in the art of structuring space through light and texture. They were mounted in a wooden frame, equipped with an integrated lighting system to enhance its transparency and play of light. These are therefore unique pieces, rare on the market, bearing the mark of one of the greatest glass artists of the 20th century. These unique works are aimed at collectors, modern art enthusiasts and architects looking for an exceptional heritage piece. Pair of stained glass windows, individual pieces available upon request.
