About the Item
There is a reason for the look of this unique sconce. This type of early 1800s shade was used for candles or small gas lamps. The open tubular section of the shade acted as a chimney for heat. We replicated this rare shade also keeping the oval brass makers plate ( Charles R. Dibben , Wax Chandlers and Oil Merchants, London) then mounted the shade to an articulating joint and the result is something totally different. These are perfect for restaurant use and we have a collection in stock. They are priced per lamp.
