About the Item
This is our Japanese wall light.
It is a faithful reproduction of an antique light that was popular as an exterior or interior light in private homes and stores in Japan from the Meiji period to the early Showa period.
The main body is made of brass, and each piece is carefully crafted by skilled hardware craftsmen in Toyama Prefecture. The finish is made of traditional Japanese urushi lacquer, and the beautiful deep black color and moist luster are created by the handwork of urushi lacquer craftsmen. Lacquer has the effect of preventing rust and corrosion, and it also provides excellent durability outdoors and in humid places.
The glass shade is available in three types (polished glass, milky white, and transparent). One of the attractions of this product is that it can be used to create an atmosphere that matches the space.

Notes.
The glass shade can be used outdoors as long as it is placed under the eaves of a roof where it is not exposed to direct rain.
Wiring is Japanese style, so if you wish to use the product overseas, you will need to change the wiring to local specifications.
