About the Item

A whimsical French six-light sconce from the 1940s featuring four mirrored bird silhouettes perched on green-painted tole branches. The branches emerge from a mirrored urn base, creating a playful yet elegant design. The mirrored birds are reminiscent of the iconic Maison Baguès crystal sconces, blending charm with sophistication. Recently rewired for modern use, this unique piece beautifully captures the spirit of mid-20th-century French design. Wear consistent with age and use, with a lovely patina to the painted tole and oxidation on the mirrors. Flatback shades not pictured are included. 24"w x 40"h x 6"d.
