About the Item
Large pair of Pulegoso blown Murano wall lights with large oval shaped shade and large ball finial, note uneven blown edges, hardware in unlacquered brass (which will oxidize shortly). 'Pulegoso' glass is a blowing technique containing numerous bubbles of all sizes, produced by adding bicarbonate of soda, or other substances to the melt. The bubbles make the glass semi-opaque and give the surface an irregular texture and a beautiful shimmery illumination.
