About the Item

One of three pairs of vintage minimalist mid-century German made / Swedish designed wall-mounted light fixtures, lamps or sconces by Glashütte Limburg, circa 1970s. Originally designed by legendary Mid-Century Swedish lighting designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson for AB Markaryd, the glass design was later licensed to equally renowned German lighting manufacturer Glashütte Limburg and these lights were produced. The simple, yet striking, clean lined modernist design looks effortlessly timeless and would fit equally well into any Mid-Century home as well as any modern home decor. The geometric shape combined with the sleek white lines result in a modernist lantern style sconce which would compliment any home. We love the mouth blown, hand finished glass elements as you can see differences within the glass, revealing that each item was made by a skilled craftsman. Newly wired. The lights require a single E14 screw fit light bulb (60 Watt Max.) each. Priced as a pair here but can be purchased in pairs / sets or they can be purchased individually in another listing.
