Louis Sognot bamboo and rattan wall lamp Mid-Century Modern 1960, France.
Very nice wall light by the French designer Louis Sognot. It is very well made. The artist has created many models using bamboo and rattan for the structure of his sconces.
The light produced by this wall lamp is very warm. This makes it a decorative object whether it is on or off.
The lamp is in good condition. We can see some wear marks due to the age of the object. there is an almost invisible fold on the lampshade. Please look at the pictures, they complete the description.
The lamp works. It may need to be rewired depending on the destination. A simple adapter may also work well.
