About the Item

Graceful and refined pair of wall sconces; the structure is made of brass, has an elegant and proportioned shape, on it has been then wisely distributed and manually applied numerous and massive lead crystals with different shapes, flower, arrow, jagged drop; the crystals have been cut, faceted and finely ground, then polished in a perfect way; the two bobeche, made in fusion and then chiseled, contain the fake candles on which the light bulbs can be placed; in the upper part of the structure, there is the hole to be able to place the sconces on the wall. The chains you see in the photo are not part of the sconces but support taking the photo shots. The sconces were created between 1950 and 1955 by a workshop on the outskirts of Paris, where the craftsman managed to come up with two unique, precious, and elegant products. The appliques each have only two points of light, but when they are turned on, the ground crystals refract the light with infinite facets, and enchanting reflections are created that enhance their decorative effect, but they can also give an exciting glow just thanks to the natural light reflected from the crystals; their extreme classicism and their romantic line, make them extremely versatile and easily placed in any environment. The sconces are in good condition. The electrical system is functional but of the era with European wiring than to be revised or replaced and the compatibility of the voltage in other states must always be verified by an electrician before use The fake candles have some cracks (see photo). Measures width cm.26, depth cm.14, height cm.32.For all our shipments we use special packaging materials (wooden crates, styrofoam, etc.) for maximum protection and safety of the objects.
