Maison Lunel - Mid-Century Modern Double wall lights - 1950s France Very nice double wall light in the 50's design. It is all in contrast: the luminous and milky whiteness of the opaline is opposed to the dark base of the blackened brass, the whole is heightened by the brilliance of the gilded brass stem. This makes it a delicately balanced and very elegant set. In good condition with normal wear of age. Please look at the pictures. In the same model, we have a pair of single sconces. Please take a look at our store. --------------------------- French entrepreneur of the 20th century, Raymond Lunel, founder of the Lunel lighting editions or Maison Lunel, marked his time by combining his vision of lines, lighting and pure curves. Self-taught, he began his career by opening a small electrical store on rue Fontaine in Paris, where he developed his vision of lighting and the art of living. Raymond really began his career in the 1950's. Passionate about architecture, interior spaces and aeronautics, he began to mass produce his lighting designs and shared his passion with renowned designers (Renée Mathieu, Robert Mathieu, Guariche...). He exhibited his designs at the Salon des Arts Ménagers, the Salon des artistes décorateurs, the CNIT (Centre des Nouvelles Industries et Technologies), and at the Milan and Turin fairs. His success with the general public attracts the attention of publishers. The collection remains attached to authenticity and attention to detail. Lunel lighting fixtures are handcrafted in luxury French factories, using the highest quality materials, and produced in limited editions. The collection of table lamps, table lamps, pendant lamps and floor lamps are among the precursors of the industrial style and the revisited classics.
