About the Item
Double lighted sconce, designed by Sigvard Bernadotte for the IFÖ, Sweden in the middle of the 1960’s.
These being a beautiful, Bauhaus-inspired example of Swedish mid-century design featuring mildly sparkling and bubbly glass
shades in a funky 70s coffee brown that screw on to the coffee latte brown/caramel hues (matte) glazed ceramic base.
Fantastic 70s design and colour scheme –
In never used condition!
A very similar set of 2 single lighted version is available in my listings as well.
Wiring suitable worldwide (universal, incl. the US) 110-220 V.

Sigvard Bernadotte
Sigvard Bernadotte was a Swedish prince and industrial designer. He was the second son of King Gustav VI Adolf of Sweden and his first wife, Princess Margaret of Connaught, a granddaughter of Britain's Queen Victoria. Bernadotte was born a Swedish prince and was originally titled Duke of Uppland, but was excluded from the line of succession and lost his Swedish titles in 1934 when he married a commoner.
