Appliques di Max Ingrand per Fontana Arte, vetro e ottone, Italia, 1955, set di due Disegnata nel 1955 da Max Ingrand per Fontana Arte, questa rara coppia di appliques esemplifica l'eleganza poetica e la maestria tecnica che hanno definito l'illuminazione italiana del dopoguerra. Ogni pezzo presenta tre lame di vetro sovrapposte in tenui tonalità pastello - ambra, acquamarina e grigio fumo - disposte intorno a un nucleo centrale di vetro opalino. Un terminale in ottone scolpito fissa la composizione con precisione e calore. La trasparenza stratificata del vetro crea un gioco dinamico di colori e luce, diffondendo un bagliore morbido che cambia sottilmente a seconda dell'angolo di osservazione. Con la loro geometria ispirata ai fiori e la loro sensuale materialità, queste applique riflettono la capacità unica di Ingrand di fondere l'impulso decorativo con la chiarezza architettonica. Maestro della luce e del vetro, Max Ingrand è stato direttore artistico di Fontana Arte dal 1954 al 1967, dando forma a un linguaggio modernista decisamente italiano.
