About the Item

Mid-20th century pair of cast metal 2-light wall sconces, Italian by Palladio. Never electrified. Empire style. Bird head scrolled arms to fluted candleholder, while arrows in a quiver acanthus leaves complete the design. Gilt metal black painted. Palladio was known for superb lighting. 21 1/8" h., 13 1/8" w., 5 3/8" d.
